Thank you for giving so generously to the water storage
project. In the last two years, hundreds of people have
worked towards raising the $90,000 needed to build this
much needed water tank.
It has been awesome to see the churches, businesses,
families, Sunday School groups, staff members, and the
summer campers give over $90,000 for the project.
What is the latest progress report?
Most of the projects around Camp are delayed due to the lack of money. That is not the case for the water storage project. The size and design of the 120,000 gallon tank has been approved. The delay is rather with the water distribution system that will be impacted by the new tank. The executive director for Camp, John Obrecht, is working with engineers and planners to design a piping system that will carry the water around the property to all of the Camps facilities. Once this system is approved by the state, the permit to build the tank will be issued.
