Hours:
Adult volunteers are asked to make arrangements with the volunteer coordinator to determine work times and projects. A normal work day begins after breakfast and ends prior to dinner. |
Arrival:
When you arrive at Camp you will be greeted by a staff member who will be your host for the entire time you are here.
Lodging & Meals:
Volunteers may receive room and board, if it is deemed necessary, in order for them to fulfill their volunteer service. For larger groups it may be necessary to pay a minimal cost for room and board to help offset Camp's cost. There should be no expectations on the volunteers' part for compensation for the service they render.
Use of Program Areas:
Use of Camp program areas is subject to the discretion of the Camp administration. Some areas require staff supervision, such as horses, the climbing tower and archery.
Pets:
Except for animals assisting those with disabilities, no pets are allowed on camp.
Power Equipment:
State law requires that no one under 18 shall operate ANY power tools/equipment. Please let us know your experience with power tools/equipment so that we can utilize your skills. |
Families:
If a family volunteers at camp, only one of the parents is expected to volunteer for the full day. Children under 18 must be under supervision at all times. Families may work together on projects at the parents' and camp's discretion. The children are always the responsibility of the parents. Families with only one parent present would be able to volunteer if their children were able to work with them at all times. |
