ASSISTANT SUMMER PROGRAM DIRECTOR

 
I.  QUALIFICATIONS

  1. College degree or equivalent in camping experience.
  2. Skills in administration and organization.
  3. The ability to work with and assist in directing summer staff.

II.  RESPONSIBLE TO: Program Director

III.  RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist Program Director with the recruiting of summer staff, including organizing out-of-state recruiting trips and the hiring of staff.
  2. Work together in the writing of summer curriculum for each camp.
  3. Assist in planning and teaching summer staff prior to and during staff orientation.
  4. Assist in teaching in the Mountain Lab School program if needed.
  5. Work together in the promotion of camp at conventions, schools, etc.
  6. Coordinate with and help run year round camp retreats as designated.
  7. Maintain CDL and drive bus.
