ASSISTANT SUMMER PROGRAM DIRECTOR
I. QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or equivalent in camping experience.
- Skills in administration and organization.
- The ability to work with and assist in directing summer staff.
II. RESPONSIBLE TO: Program Director
III. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Program Director with the recruiting of summer staff, including organizing out-of-state recruiting trips and the hiring of staff.
- Work together in the writing of summer curriculum for each camp.
- Assist in planning and teaching summer staff prior to and during staff orientation.
- Assist in teaching in the Mountain Lab School program if needed.
- Work together in the promotion of camp at conventions, schools, etc.
- Coordinate with and help run year round camp retreats as designated.
- Maintain CDL and drive bus.
