Have you always wanted a horse, but don't want to commit to ownership of a high-maintenance animal? Or maybe you love horses, but have nowhere to keep one. If this is true of you, then our Adopt-a-Horse Program may be exactly what you are looking for!

This program works in two ways:

#1- Standard Adoption: (Example: I have horse property, and would like to try horse ownership, but have not ever done it before; or any other reason, I don't want to commit to buying my own animal.)

This is how we may be able to help you. Our horses get very little use in our 7-9 months off season. If you adopt one of our horses, we deliver the horse to you in the fall, you board it for the winter, and we come get it in the spring.

ADVANTAGES...

-No commitment - you may call at any time, and we will come get our horse.
-All the benefits that come with having, loving, and caring for a wonderful animal.

DISADVANTAGES...

-Responsibility for all care - a healthy horse will be delivered to you. A healthy horse must be returned. You are responsible for all vet care, feed, worming, shoeing, vaccinations etc.)

#2- Board-a-Camp Adoption: (Example: I love horses, and would love to ride, but I have nowhere to keep a horse.)

This option may be for you. Again, like #1, this program goes from fall to spring. You would adopt a horse for a flat fee of $50/mo (subject to change), allowing you to visit Camp and ride your horse, at your convenience.

ADVANTAGES...
- You are not responsible for the care of the horse.
- You have access to 250 acres of mountain trails every time you want to ride.

DISADVANTAGES...
- You pay a flat fee.
- You may not take the horse off Camp property.
- You have to drive to Camp to ride in order to ride.

Horses are designated on a first-come-first-served basis, with former adopters receiving first priority. Standard adoption is by application only. For more information please contact us.

We also have small animals to adopt, including rabbits, llama, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and pigs.
