2008 Theme
|
Our Summer 2008 theme is “CHOOSE - the
way, the truth, the life,” based on John
14:6 “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way the
truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me.’” Our goal is to encourage our campers
to choose Jesus Christ as their Savior and to develop
personal and thriving relationships with Christ so the
choices they make throughout their lives will bring
honor and glory to God.
Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je provides an atmosphere
where each camper can have the opportunity to
experience spiritual growth while having fun. Campers
enjoy a large variety of age-appropriate activities, from
climbing the 45-foot tower to riding horses, or creating
something beautiful in Arts & Crafts. Whatever the
activity, our trained staff is ready and willing to assist
each camper.

Our Summer Camps
A dedicated college-aged counselor, and
often a counselor-in-training (CIT), stays in each cabin
or tepee. Camp’s entire staff is carefully and prayerfully
screened, and must undergo an intense week
of training prior to the start of Camp. Our Executive
Director, John Obrecht, has ministered at Id-Ra-Ha-Je
for 41 years, and each of our full-time staff members
has several years of camp ministry experience.
We are licensed by the State of Colorado,
and have been members of Christian Camp and
Conference Association (CCCA) for over 30 years.
We have also received the seal of approval from the
ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial
Accountability), and are a member of the
Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Regardless of whether you are 1st grade, 12th grade or somewhere in between, there's a camp for you! If you love adventure and want to learn more about the outdoors, if you want to meet other kids your own age, if you just want to spend a week in the mountains, or if you want to strengthen your walk with the Lord, there's a place for you.
Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je’s summer programs do not discriminate on the
basis of
race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age,
disability,
political beliefs, sexual orinentation, marital or family status. |
