Joe & Nancy Spelic
I was born and raised in Denver, and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. My wife Nancy was born in Omaha, but moved to Denver at the age of two and considers herself a Colorado Native. Through God’s divine plan we met at Fort Lewis College in Durango while attending Business School together. We were both raised in a Christian home but did not have a personal relationship with the Lord. In 1998 Nancy and I were attending a church service where the pastor offered an invitation to those who wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It was at this church service where we both accepted the Lord. Nancy and I were married in 1991 and live in Aurora with our three children, Sophia, Pete, and Mark. Our family enjoys being a part of the body of believers at Fellowship Community Church. The entire family enjoys the many Colorado outdoor activities, especially hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Sophia successfully climbed her first fourteener at age 6 (Mt. Bierstadt 14,060 feet). Since joining the staff of Id Ra Ha Je in July of 2005 as the Director of Development, I have been blessed to see firsthand how God works and moves through this incredible ministry. It is truly amazing to see and hear of the many people that have experienced Jesus Christ here since 1948.
