Earl & Janice Mortimeyer

I have been serving as Camp’s bookkeeper since 1984. My husband Earl had already been serving on Camp’s Board for a few years. I am blessed to be a part of this ministry.

I know from first hand experience the value of ministry to children.  I was born in Ontario, Canada. When I was five years old my father died suddenly from an accident. Through that experience I learned early to rely on my Heavenly Father. I came to know Jesus when I was nine years old and when I was eleven an older brother paid my way to a week of Bible camp. While there I experienced a desire to serve my Heavenly Father with my whole life. I lived in many places during my childhood and teen years.

My husband Earl grew up in the Gray’s Harbor area of Washington. He had a difficult childhood but by God’s miraculous intervention he came to know Jesus as Savior when he was sixteen years old.

We have been married over thirty beautiful years and have two grown children (Divena and Justin). Our greatest praise is that both our children know Jesus as their Savior.  Camp Id Ra Ha Je certainly played a part in shaping their spiritual walk.

Our interests include fishing, reading and spending time with our family.  We especially enjoy the time we spend with our little grand-daughter.
